My Day

I am Zainab Mzee. A pupil in standard seven in KAG Primary School. I usually wake up early in the morning to go to school as the adage goes early bird catches the worm.

I usually come to school by bus. The first bell rings at six thirty early in the morning. When I reach in school the first lessons commences and then we go to the assembly.

At the assembly the teachers always tell us to be punctual and work hard in our studies. I usually listen what they are talking about since a stitch in time saves nine.

The bell rings and I go to class and start the lesson. We usually have five lessons before short break. After short break we have two lesson than I usually go for my breakfast. In our school break is usually forty minutes. Then the bell is rung and I go to class for two more lessons before lunch.

When the bell rings I go and take my delicious food. I don’t squander time in eating and after eating I go and play with my friend since we have one hour for lunch. I take thirty minutes playing and fifteen minutes I go to my teachers and ask some questions. The teachers in our school are industrious. They usually explain to me in a good way.

After lunch I then go to class and learn three lesson. After the lesson I usually go to my club. After clubs, I break and take some snacks and after that I go to class and we learn three lesson before going home. The bell rings at six forty five in the evening and I go home. The day usually is as busy as a bee.

I go home by school bus and we can reach home at eight o’clock. I am always tired and I take my dinner and then do my homework. The teachers always give us homework in order for me not to be indolent. This is what I do in a day.
